Inact Actions are “alerts” designed to monitor your operations. The Actions are rule-based and notify you when something requires your attention and action.
“Actions” is a list of items (e.g. a part number) you can create yourself or have assigned by your admin based on an Insight. Actions are useful when you need to take an action on certain items (for example, based on a filter on an Insight). Each item has a category that fits the action you have or need to take on that particular item.
In other words, Actions is a list of items from a given Dataset based on criteria, in the form of a filter. This list is updated every day and scans the data for the selected criteria and adds and/or removes items.
